The Airlink bus runs between Edinburgh International Airport and Edinburgh Waverley rail station, a five minute walk from the George Hotel. There are departures at least every 10 minutes and the journey time is 30 minutes. The fare is £3.50 single or £6 return. The bus features comfortable seats, tables and free wi-fi. By Rail

Edinburgh Waverley Station is served by both the East Coast and West Coast fast rail connections. There is a sleeper service. Edinburgh Waverley Station is a short taxi ride away, or a five minute walk, from the George Hotel.

By Road

Once you arrive, there are various parking options. It is free to park on the street between 18:30 and 08:30 every day of the week except Sunday when it is free all day – during the week metered parking has a maximum duration of three hours. Alternatively, if staying at the hotel they can offer a discount when using the NCP Omni Centre at Greenside Place; about ten minutes walk from the hotel. If choosing the latter option, we recommend that you drop your luggage at the hotel first and the concierge will be more than happy to help with simple directions to reach the NCP.

For those not staying at the George Hotel, NCP have car parks at St James Centre and Greenside Place.
