The George
Hotel is situated in the heart of Edinburgh on the elegant George Street,
known as the ‘Bond Street’ of Edinburgh. This prestigious location
provides easy access to major attractions such as Princes Street, the Palace of Holyrood
House & Edinburgh Castle.
The George Hotel is a landmark in Edinburgh, and successfully blends period
charm with contemporary design, following a near £20 million refurbishment
and development programme. The architectural detail of the Grade II listed
façade is complemented by exquisite interiors - from the bedrooms to the
beautiful King’s Hall. The buildings date back to 1775 when Edinburgh’s
New Town development was at its peak. It was first opened as a hotel in
1881, a conversion from three Georgian houses. The very best of
Edinburgh’s shopping, restaurants and nightlife can be found on the
doorstep of the George Hotel. Edinburgh Waverley train station, with
direct services to London via the East and West Coast main lines, is only
a five minute walk away.
The 250 bedrooms are spacious and well-equipped; 100 have been reserved for delegates.
Rooms will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so please book early.
